Calligraphy is a visual art related to writing. It’s the implementation of lettering with a broad tip tool, brush, and other writing material. Modern calligraphy ranges from practical wordings and designs to fine-art pieces where the letters may or may not be understandable.
Modern Calligraphy is a skill that takes lots of time and effort. It requires loads and loads of practice before one can become perfect at it. Most people resort to faux calligraphy or brush-lettering, which is ten times easier and doesn’t necessarily call for you to have dip pens/fountain pens. Most of the time, people get overwhelmed by the things they see other skilled people doing on the Internet, and resort to accepting that they can’t do what others do. However, that’s not right. Everyone is capable of everything, and it’s just us that says we can’t.
